Are the stated stock figures reliable?
DirectLowCost.Com carries all products in stock.
Stock levels are updated daily.
Occasionally, a requested article may be out of stock, in which case, when you add a product to your order you will be notified that it is not in stock at our logistics centre.
Whenever possible, a resupply date will be shown on the product datasheet.
Where can I find technical information about a product?
The site features a "Technical Datasheets" tab with details of the current product's main features.
These datasheets are produced and updated by our teams of buyers and quality control specialists.
What is DirectLowCost.Com's pricing policy?
DirectLowCost.Com works hard to offer you extremely attractive, competitive prices.
To this end, we continuously compare two factors:
- value for money,
- service value.
All prices shown on our site are DDP prices or CIF prices.
They therefore include the purchase price + cost of storage at our facility until dispatched FOB + shipping cost + customs clearance + forward transport to your chosen place of delivery + credit and insurance costs.
DirectLowCost.Com works tirelessly to provide the best possible quality of service for the price charged.
What happens if the price changes?
A sale is effective when you confirm your order and select the payment term (thereby agreeing the contents of your container and the total price).
In accordance with commercial law, under no circumstances may we offer you compensation if prices fall after you have placed your order.
Similarly, we are not entitled to charge extra if prices were to rise.
ORDERING
What means of payment are available?
DirectLowCost.Com offers customers two payment solutions.
- DirectLowCost.Com works as follows for the settlement of invoices for all new clients:
- DEPOSIT 30% on confirmation of order
- Sale of 70% against delivery of documents and / or before delivery to the store / warehouse
- However, when your final order statement is drawn up, DirectLowCost.Com gives you 3 options. Simply tick your preferred option:
- OPT FOR 30 DAYS EXTRA*
- OPT FOR 60 DAYS EXTRA**
- OPT FOR 90 DAYS EXTRA***
* at an additional cost of 0.5% of the total invoice amount (ex VAT)
** at an additional cost of 1% of the total invoice amount (ex VAT)
*** at an additional cost of 1.5% of the total invoice amount (ex VAT)
How are goods delivered?
DirectLowCost.Com ships your order in containers.
Upon leaving our logistics centre, your containers are carried by conventional transport, i.e. maritime freight + road haulage.
Upon arrival in the destination country:
- For consignments shipped Delivered Duty Paid: your containers are managed by our forwarding agent until they are delivered to your store/warehouse.
The forwarding agent will contact you to arrange the exact date and time of delivery.
- With consignments shipped CIF to the destination port: your containers will be made available at the nearest unloading port to your store/warehouse.
How long before my order is dispatched?
DirectLowCost.Com delivers throughout Europe* in no more than 45 days (from the date of confirmation of your order).
For shipments to the rest of the world, you will be notified of the date of delivery to the nearest destination port to your store/warehouse before your container is packed.
How can I view, download and archive my invoice?
You can view your DirectLowCost.Com invoice on our Internet site at any time, either by clicking the " Order tracking" link or by clicking on the orange "Current orders" container.
You will be able to view and/or print your invoice from the order tracking screen, 5 DAYS AFTER THE CONTAINER IS DISPATCHED.
You can archive invoices by saving them in electronic form or simply by printing them (each invoice remains accessible for 6 years).
To do so:
- Open our home page and click the "Order tracking" link.
- Log in, by entering your email address/login and password and clicking "OK".
- Once in your personal workspace, click the "Order tracking" link.
- Click on the invoice number beginning with XXXXX to view, download, or print your invoice.
How do I enter my address?
- You MUST enter a street number and street name
- If your address does not include a street number, please enter 00
- If your address is simply the name of a trading estate or village, please choose a street name and enter your current postcode
How do I set my password?
Entering your password enables you to place orders and access all our custom services the next time you visit our site. All you need to do is define a password of your choice (using a combination of digits and/or letters).
How do I track my order?
Open the "Order tracking" screen, entering your email address/login and password.
Your complete order history is displayed.
DirectLowCost.Com assigns your order one of four "statuses":
- Your order is pending acceptance by DirectLowCost.Com
- The order is being processed at our logistics centre
- The order was dispatched (ATD) on ../ ../..
- The order arrived at the destination port (ATA) on ../../..
- Scheduled date of arrival at your store: ../../.. (arranged by telephone between the forwarding agent and customer)
CANCELLATION AND REIMBURSEMENT
How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order within 48 hours of placing it.
After that time, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CANCEL AN ORDER.
The complete process of packing and shipping the order to the final delivery location will be set in motion.
How can I cancel an option?
Once your order has been confirmed, you have 24 hours in which to modify any options:
- Product selection
- Product quantities/colours
- Payment terms

DELIVERY
How can I arrange the exact delivery date and time?
For countries in the European area, with DDP prices, the forwarding agent in the destination country collects your container(s) at the destination port.
The forwarding agent arranges customs clearance and handles the various administrative formalities,
before contacting you to arrange the exact date and time of delivery.
NB:
- The "delivery length" is set to 3h by default.
If the delivery overruns, you will be billed for the additional time.
- 2.The customer is responsible for providing personnel to unload the container.
For other countries, with CIF prices, the forwarding agent in the destination country will notify you when your container arrives at the destination port.
Can I refuse a delivery?
Under no circumstances can you refuse delivery of a container.
Any complaints or claims must be submitted in writing to our customer service department, which will take the time to analyse your situation and provide a speedy solution.
What must I do when I receive a container?
- When you receive a container, you should check that the delivery note matches the container's contents.
If in doubt, feel free to contact our customer service team by clicking here.
- When you have received all items in your order, please stamp and remit the delivery note to the driver.
We use this document to confirm that your invoice is correct.
What is the procedure in the event of a dispute concerning the contents?
All our consignments are inspected three times and film-wrapped before they are dispatched.
These very strict measures enable us to guarantee the package contents and container loading.
In the unlikely event of an error, please state your reservations on the delivery note and contact us by email. We will investigate the incident and keep you informed of any action taken.
WARRANTY
When can I cancel an order?

What is the procedure for returning a product?
If, at the time of reception, you notice:
- A broken product
- A missing product
- A product that does not match the description on the product data sheet

For security reasons, our packages are sent under the DirectLowCost.Com name with the following logo :

How do I continue shopping after logging out? Are the items in my basket saved?
When you log out for DirectLowCost.Com while assembling your container, your product selection is automatically stored but your quantities are not reserved.
The next time you log in, a summary of your current order (blue container) is immediately displayed.
Clicking the " Update" button updates your order with the quantities and prices already in your basket.

- Order quantities may be adjusted according to the stock available at the time of updating
- Prices may vary as a result of fluctuations in exchange rates and raw material costs
